Everyone Deserves a Fresh Start
At The Art of Concrete, we've met homeowners who have been left with unfinished projects, poor workmanship, lost deposits, or unexpected financial hardships. No one should have to live with an unsafe driveway, broken walkway, or abandoned patio because circumstances were beyond their control.
That's why we're launching our Second Chance Concrete Giveaways.
We'll select deserving homeowners or family to receive a professionally installed concrete project at no cost. This is our way of giving back to the community that has supported us over the years.
Whether you've been let down by a contractor, experienced financial hardship, or know someone who truly deserves a helping hand, we invite you to apply.
Who Can Apply?
You may be eligible if:
You were left with an unfinished or abandoned concrete project.
You received poor-quality or unsafe concrete work.
You lost money to a dishonest contractor.
Financial hardship has prevented you from completing a needed concrete project.
You or your family have experienced unexpected life circumstances making a new driveway, walkway, or patio difficult to afford.
You're nominating someone in your community who deserves a second chance.
What Could Be Included?
Projects may include:
Driveways
Walkways
Patios
Front entrances
Steps
Small accessibility improvements
The exact scope of work will be determined by The Art of Concrete based on the selected recipient's needs, site conditions, and available resources.
How to Enter
Complete the application form and include:
Your name and contact information
Property address
A description of your situation
Photos of the existing area
The type of project you need
Why this project would make a meaningful difference
If you're nominating someone else, please explain why they deserve to be considered.
How We Choose
Applications are reviewed by our team based on:
Demonstrated need
Community impact
Safety concerns
Overall circumstances
Project feasibility
Our goal is to help someone whose life can truly be improved through this opportunity.
Official Giveaway Rules
Eligibility
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must own the property or have written permission from the property owner.
Property must be located within The Art of Concrete's regular service area. 50km
Employees, immediate family members, and household members of The Art of Concrete are not eligible.
Entry
No purchase is necessary.
Only one application per household.
All information submitted must be truthful and complete.
The Art of Concrete reserves the right to verify any information provided.
Project Value
The awarded project will have a value of $3,000-$15,0000 determined by The Art of Concrete.
The final project scope will be determined solely by The Art of Concrete.
Additional work beyond the awarded scope may be quoted separately if requested.
Site Requirements
Projects are subject to:
Site inspection
Accessibility
Existing conditions
Utility locates
Municipal regulations
Permit requirements (where applicable)
If unforeseen conditions make the project unsafe or impractical, The Art of Concrete may modify or decline the project.
Scheduling
The winning project will be completed at a mutually agreed-upon time based on weather, scheduling, and workload.
Media Release
By submitting an application, you agree that if selected, The Art of Concrete may photograph and video the project before, during, and after construction.
You also grant permission for these photos, videos, and your story to be used on our website, social media, advertising, newsletters, and other promotional materials. Personal information such as phone numbers and email addresses will never be shared.
Privacy
Personal information collected through this giveaway will only be used to administer the giveaway, communicate with applicants, and announce the selected recipient where permitted.
We do not sell or distribute your personal information.
General Conditions
The Art of Concrete reserves the right to:
Verify all information submitted.
Request additional documentation.
Select no winner if no application meets the intended purpose of the giveaway.
Modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway if circumstances beyond our control require it.
Make all eligibility and selection decisions at our sole discretion. These decisions are final.
