A flexible and economical option becoming more widely used is Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GFRC). As the name suggests GFRC is concrete reinforced with fibres that enhance the strength of prepared panels reducing weight and allowing for larger panels to be manufactured. Fibres allow flexibility in the concrete that is otherwise non-existent creating a break resistant surface.
Traditionally used externally, GFRC is also used to make tables, kitchen countertops, fireplace mantles and surrounds, vanity, decorative, furniture pieces and detailed design features. Quality replica artificial rocks may be made at a fraction of the costs of actual product purchase and usually at an increased durability.
We service Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Woodstock, Brantford, Toronto, London,Ottawa.
